NZ Legacy & Suncor are planning a massive new community just North of Concho, Arizona near Hunt, AZ and the Petrified Forest National Park.

Suncor was founded in 1986 and is a member of the Pinnacle West family of companies. Pinnacle West is the parent company of APS. APS provides energy utilities to homes and businesses in Arizona.

NZ Legacy is owned by Robert Worsley. Mr. Worsley was Chief Executive Officer and President of SkyMall, Inc. Mr. Worsley retired from SkyMall on November 1, 2003 to pursue the expansion and development of the New Mexico and Arizona Land Company, LLC's.

The NZ Legacy website states "Mr. Worsley funded $250,000 for the planning and execution of Navajo County and Apache County's comprehensive plans. The plans were due to the state in December 2003. Both counties are now in compliance."

In September 2006, NZ Legacy began construction of its 24MW biomass plant in Snowflake, Arizona.

Huge Arizona Development In White Mountains Near Concho

In the April 12, 2002 issue of The Phoenix Business Journal it stated that Worsley bought the 150-square-mile property east of Holbrook in late March 2002.

"A city that could break the rules in urban design is proposed on 95,000 acres in northeast Arizona by the founder and former chief executive of SkyMall Inc. and the designer of DC Ranch."

"SkyMall's Bob Worsley of Phoenix and Scottsdale architect Vernon Swaback are exploring designs for a future community next to the Petrified Forest National Park."

The NZ Legacy website states this new development information: "The Milky Ranch is the planned location for the Stone Axe Power Ranch, LLC. It is planned to have wind, solar, biomass and low head-hydro energy production as well as salt dome storage of compressed air, natural gas, propane and bio-diesel fuel." The Milky Ranch is North of Concho, AZ on ALT 180 near the Petrified Forest National Park. This site is unique that is 100,000 acres with great solar resources. The site is a class 3 wind site. 150 miles to Phoenix with good railroads, natural gas pipeline and road access. Mr. Worsley is the only owner of the property who will promote and drive the project.

"NZ has retained the services of Swaback Partners, some of who are Frank Lloyd Wright protégés and city planners for Scottsdale, Sedona, Cave Creek, DC Ranch, etc. Subsequently, several of the principles of Swaback have formed a new company called Espiritu Loci and are assisting with detailed plans. Future proposals for this land will occur in phases but will include:

Ultimately a new city is planned (a la Anthem, AZ) with good water. The city, code named “Stone Axe”, is equidistant between Albuquerque, NM and Phoenix, AZ." Source: nzlegacy.com website.

Ranch Communities of America, LLC (RCA) RCA will be the brand NZ uses as it markets finished lots in the new developments.

Water
Water Rights "NZ recently contracted with a local well driller to develop 10 commercial wells capable of pumping 1000 to 3,000 gpm in a geographically diverse pattern. Short-term, these wells will be used for agricultural purposes but ultimately they will probably provide municipal potable water for a new metro area."
